Mr. Woodard retired from Brandywine School District. Recently, Charles was honored at Delaware Art Museum for the Alzhiemer's Association. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Woodard; sons, Dennis and Ollie Booker and grandson, Shawn Washington. He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Eunice Woodard-Deputy (Richard) and Charles Woodard, Jr., grandchildren, Tiffany Woodard, Rykia Woodard-Deputy and Tyron Hall; siblings, Barbara Jean Woodard and Joseph Woodard (Mary); sister-in-law, Lucy Davis and a host of other family members and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Broadmeadow (Warner Unit).
