Bessie G. Cephas started her earthly journey on August 16, 1946, in West Palm Beach Flordia to the late Robert and Catherine Mickens. God saw fit to grant her eternal rest on June 9, 2021, at Wilmington Hospital.

Bessie Gail received her early childhood education from West Palm Beach Public School system. After school, she worked as a housekeeper. She was employed for 35 years working with the Grossman family.

Bessie Gail was a member of the House Of God Church. Bessie was known by all for her heart of gold. She had many hobbies and interests. Delaware Park, playing cards and giving you a piece of her mind

Bessie Gail was preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister, Aunt Roseann and uncle Jerome Smart, son Robert Cephas Sr. and a great grand-daughter Layla Richards and husband Oliver Cephas Jr.

Bessie Gail is survived by her children Peggy Mickens, Oliver Cephas, Mildred Cephas, and Jerome Cephas, one step-daughter Latanya Harden, sister Dorothy ( Gregory) Williams, 39 grandchildren, 1 niece Rhonda, 2 Godchildren, and a host of daily and friends. Bessie Gail will be missed by ALL. Previous Events
