Angelia was born on May 1, 1964, in Engelhard, North Carolina to the late Helen Gibbs. She passed from this life on June 17, 2021, at Wilmington Hospital.
Angelia received her early childhood education in the public schools of Delaware. After school, she worked as a substitute teacher and for a cleaning company.
Angelia loved people and lived for her grandchildren. She was known and loved by all she touched. She was truly a magnetic force that drew people to her.
Angelia was preceded in death by her mother Helen Gibbs; brothers James and Landon; and her sister Alice.
Angelia is survived by her three children Omar, Lakeyia, and Davonta'; four sisters Maggie, Peggy, Deborah, and Cindy; five wonderful grandchildren Le'Asia, Kenaja, Christian, Ethan, and Kayden; a host of other family members and friends. We will all feel the void of her loss. Previous Events
