Mr. Deshields passed on August 18, 2015 at Arbors at New Castle Health & Rehabilitation Center.
He was preceded in death by his brother Jerome Powell.
He leaves to cherish his memory, mother Rachael Gaither; brothers: John Rice, Nathaniel and Reginald Wilkes; sisters: Carolyn Rice Miles and Jacqueline Lewis; a host of nieces and nephews, as well as great ones.
