Alexis Nyree Black

Alexis Nyree was born on January 2nd, 1993, to Patricia Black and David Christopher Tymes. She passed on November 12th, 2021, in Wilmington, Delaware.

Lexi as she was affectionately called by family and friends, received her education in the public schools of Delaware. She graduated from Wilmington Job Corp. After school, she worked various jobs including retail, housekeeping, and up until her death, clerical.

Lexi loved being with her children. She also loved listening to music, dancing, shopping, and entertaining her family and friends. Lexi was kindhearted, she would take in friends in need.

Alexis was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother; Rev. Willie F. Tymes; uncle, Jabari H. Saunders; and other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Alexis leaves to cherish her memories with her children, Mekhi, Makayla, Messiah Black, and Kaimya Ennols-Black; parents, Patricia Black and David Tymes; bonus mom, Shonda Black; sisters, Lionya Black, Latifah Gibbs(Eddie), Tanesa Buckley, Christina Mayo, Latoya Carter; brothers, Darrell Davis and Hakeem Porter; five aunts; four uncles; maternal grandmother, Shirley Saunders; maternal grandfather, Alfred Hall (Gladys); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Alexis, our loving daughter, mother, granddaughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend will be greatly missed. Previous Events
